Day 15 - March 7, 2012

What an amazing night of prayer!  And, the weather was such a blessing -- we did not have to be bundled so we were unrecognizable!  We joined Frank in his final few minutes of prayer before our hour began.  It is so nice to cross paths with your adjoining hour prayer warrior neighbors!!  Thank you to our Car Prayer Warriors (Eleanor and her hubby) -- who stop by many times to say prayers in between their errands. Jenny and I began our hour with prayer, asking God to change the apathetic hearts of the public and bring out people who are passionate for the His gift of LIFE.  Well, God was listening...we had many waves and happy honks and two wonderful visitors stop by to encourage us and tell us they want to help out in any way they can. Norma joined us after a little bit and we walked our journey or prayer saying the Rosary.  After a few minutes, Cindy and her mother, Bendetta, pulled up to talk.  They said they have been driving by for several months (other campaigns, too) and today they just needed to stop (that is so God!).  We passed along a lot of our campaign information and some pro-life items.  It was a beautiful chat about how we need to storm heaven with our prayers and how we are bound to one another through the power of the Cross (Amen!).  Cindy asked us to pray for Bendetta -- who had a surgical procedure done today and is in need of healing on her hand (we prayed her up at the end of our hour -- and if you are reading this, please say another prayer, too!).  Jenny, Norma, and I continued in our walking prayer and then Lori came by to tell us about her incident with being pro-life.  Her nephew was conceived in rape -- but they couldn't imagine life without him.  Lori is truly filled with passion for Jesus and we pray that Jesus keeps her focused and blessed in her journey to spread the good news about the gift of LIFE.  We finished our hour of prayer, hugged, and gave our gratitude to God for filling us with His power of the Spirit and for allowing us to be His instruments for prayer for those that stopped by--what a gift it is to be used by the Almighty One!  (The wind was quite mighty -- so we know the Spirit was there with us.)  God also graced us with the most beautiful picture of the Moon rising.  Thank You!  (Maribeth)
