Day 2 - February 23, 2012

Good evening all...Maribeth, Nancy, Linda & myself blest ourselves with holy water, said our four opening prayers & prayed the rosary for all involved with abortion in any way. We took turns holding our pro-life signs facing traffic both ways.  We also took turns leading the rosary, reading a brief meditation from the Luminous Mysteries before each Hail Mary.  Then for the conversion of the abortion doctors, we sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It was nice having others carry the main melody so I could harmonize every now & then.  We received waves & happy honks throughout the hour, even the policeman driving by waved to us.  I didn't notice any negatives.  My Lady of Guadalupe candle was lit on the ground in front of our group & the scent of gardenias was beautiful. Norma showed up at 7pm to sit in her car & pray for an hour.
