December 19, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

Tonight it was 37 degrees & calm instead of 19 degrees & windy!!! I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground then walked between the 3 trees under the light reading all the opening prayers, holding my pro-life sign toward traffic.  I said/sang the Holy Rosary for all involved in abortion in any way, especially for those babies scheduled to be killed tomorrow  morning ~ that there mom's would change their minds & give their babies life. I read a brief Joyful Mystery before each Hail Mary. Then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of all abortion doctors. Closed with the Pledge of Allegiance. Two of the young men who work at the market drove by, smiled & waved. Then one of the young women who works at Lovely Nails came out & we wished each other a Merry Christmas. Heard happy honks throughout my prayer hour this evening ~ no negatives.  It is hard to believe that 2013 is almost over, wow!!! WISHING YOU ALL A BLESSED CHRISTMAS!!!  (Jenny)

December 12, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

Dressed in many layers (19 degrees tonight & a bit windy), I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground & opened up with The Prayer for the Helpless Unborn for those babies scheduled to be killed in the morning ~ that there mom's would realize that they just cannot do this to their little ones. Lord, help them do what is right for their babies!!! For all PW's in our world who are praying on site in the cold like myself, I offered up the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.  I held my pro-life sign & my Rosary & walked back & forth under the three trees starting the Holy Rosary for all involved in abortion in any way meditating on the Luminous Mysteries.

Maribeth arrived ~ yeah!!! She took over leading the Rosary giving a brief meditation before each decade.  For the conversion of abortion doctors, we then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.  We had a little time left so we sang Christmas songs then ended the hour looking at our beautiful flag on the other side of the street & said the Pledge of Allegiance.  We heard happy honks through the prayer hour & a drive by screamer at the very start, but all I heard was the word "abortion" yelled, so I'm not sure exactly what that young woman had yelled but I asked our Blessed Mother to give her a hug & pray with me for the healing of the hurt that would cause her to yell out like that. Maribeth & I were really!!! cold ~ but happy to offer up that hour of a little discomfort for the end of abortion. We must!!! be out there to remind folks to continue to pray for the end of this evil in our neighborhoods & hearing the happy honks lets us know that there are lots of pro-life folks driving by & seeing us two Prayer Warriors praying to save babies ~ to be the voice for the voiceless.  (Jenny)

December 5, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

chilly & windy this evening but I dressed in many layers so only my fingers & toes were a teensy bit cold but no problem.  I blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground & opened up with The Prayer for the Helpless Unborn & for all PW's in our world who pray on site at these killing mills, I said the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.  I held my pro-life sign toward traffic & walked back & forth under the three trees near the light & said/sang the Holy Rosary meditating on the Luminous Mysteries then the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of abortion doctors. A young woman with a little one in the back seat stopped he car & said "God bless you."  I told her I take an hour break from work each Thursday night to pray especially for those babies who are scheduled to be killed on Friday morning, that their moms will have a change of heart & will give birth to their little ones.  She said "that's great, I'll pray for that too."  I said "excellent, thank you, God bless you." Wow!!! what a beautiful way God let me know that He definitely wants me out there on Thursday nights. Man, His message to me through that young woman was so clear :o)  I also heard a few happy honks now & then ~ no negatives. I closed my prayer hour with the Pledge of Allegiance & was so happy :o) to warm up my toes & fingers on the way home but I'm happy to offer up that teensy pain to God for the end of abortion. Like I tell Tom, if I'm out there with my sign & Rosary in peaceful prayer, it keeps reminding folks that unborn babies are still!!! being killed at that evil place & more & more folks need to pray for this to end.  (Jenny)

November 28, 2013 - Thursday Vigil -- HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Blessings to all on this glorious day of Thanksgiving!

It was 26 degrees out there this evening & I'm soooo glad I listened to Tom & wore long underwear. I was nice & warm in my layers.  I blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground & stood under the street light so I could read all my opening prayers as I held my pro-life sign toward traffic.  Then I walked back & forth under the three trees near the light & said/sang the Holy Rosary meditating on the Joyful Mysteries then the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of the abortion doctors. As always, I prayed especially that those who have appointments to kill their babies on Friday morning, praying that will have a change of heart & will give birth to their little ones & if needed ask help from the pro-lifers who pray there on Friday mornings.  I just makes my sick to my stomach thinking of little babies in pieces tossed into that red bucket up there. Lord, help our sinful world!!! I closed my prayer time with the Pledge of Allegiance. It was such a peaceful hour this evening & it was so great to warm up my toes & fingers on the way home but that is something I'm happy to offer up to God for the end of abortion. Like I tell Tom, if I'm out there with my sign & Rosary in peaceful prayer, it keeps reminding folks that unborn babies are still!!! being killed at WomanCare & we must pray that it stops soon.  (Jenny)

November 21, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

I stood under my umbrella facing WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground. I said the Prayer for the Helpless Unborn & a lady who had just gotten her nails done stopped her car to read my sign & gave me a nice smile. For all PW's who peacefully pray in front of abortion mills all over the world, I said the Prayer to St. Michael.

Maribeth arrived and we walked back & forth to keep warm in the chilly, rainy evening & she led the Holy Rosary giving a beautiful Luminous Mystery meditation before each decade. We then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of all abortionists. Its dark at 6pm now, so unable to see folks driving by but we heard happy honks throughout our prayer hour. We closed with the Pledge of Allegiance then into our cars to warm up & get out of the rain.  (Jenny)

Too bad the Abortion Clinic wasn't cited for a violation against LIFE!

November 14, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

As I was the lone PW this evening, I walked to & from the trees under the streetlight holding my pro-life sign. I blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground. It was in the low 50's but windy, so a bit chilly. I had two scarfs on & many layers. I said the Holy Rosary meditating on the Luminous Mysteries, singing the Hail Marys & Our Fathers then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. I offered up this prayer hour for those little ones who are scheduled to end up in the "red bucket" tomorrow morning, that their moms will see God's light & not have their babies killed. Just makes me so sad to think about this going on in our world today but I will keep praying because I know He answers every prayer in His own perfect way. I picked up my carry out from the Chinese & pizza place & was glad to warm up in my car on the way home. Happy honks throughout the prayer hour, which is always nice to hear. No negatives this evening!  (Jenny)

November 7, 2013 -- Thursday Vigil

It's dark out now for the entire prayer vigil & getting colder so dress warm if you plan to join Maribeth & I.  With my pro-life sign facing traffic with balloons attached to it, I blest myself & the ground around me, faced WomanCare abortion mill & began the opening prayers for all involved in abortion in any way.   Maribeth arrived ~ yeah!!! She continued the opening prayers then led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Glorious Mystery meditation before each Hail Mary.  We then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the abortionists to be converted to God's light & truth & to leave the culture of death. Maribeth then said a beautiful closing prayer especially for the little unborn babies who are in danger of being killed tomorrow morning.  We ended our vigil with the Pledge of Allegiance. Good bye hugs, then into our cars to warm up on our way home.  (Jenny)

November 3, 2013 -- DAY FORTY - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

Last night, over 20 of us gathered in a big circle, opened with the Angeles, then we prayed the Holy Rosary as Sue read beautiful Joyful Mystery meditations before each Hail Mary. We then offered up our prayers in song with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, holding big yellow LIFE balloons, It's a Baby Boy, It's a Baby Girl, pink & blue balloons as well. Many happy honks & thumbs up & a negative.  I said a quick prayer for the soul of this misguided young man. We dressed in layers for the chilly Michigan weather & then warmed up in St. Malachy Church where our dear Shepherd, Father Joe, said a beautiful pro-life prayer to begin a lovely, peaceful, holy time there. We were all blessed as Justin, St. M's Music Director, composer E. Louis Canter & the angelic voices of their choir members performed "Requiem for the Innocents." Absolutely glorious!!! If you wish for their performance at your church, call Justin for more info (586) 264-1220.  (Jenny)

Thank you to all of our might prayer warriors who participated in the Fall 2013 40 Days for Life Sterling Heights campaign.  With YOU, we have made another impact in our community about how sacred and precious life really is!!  May you and your families be blessed abundantly!  (Maribeth)

November 2, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-NINE - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

6:00 p.m. Vigil

As I arrived at WomanCare I could see a PW walking back & forth on the sidewalk. It was Carol Washington ~ yeah!!! from Bethlehem Temple Baptist Church who had PW's there throughout the day during their Adopt--Day prayer vigil today. We hugged hello & I asked her if she would say an opening prayer to begin my 6pm prayer vigil & as always, it was just beautiful.  We talked a bit then she continued her prayers along the sidewalk & I walked along the grass area saying/singing the Holy Rosary meditating on the Joyful Mysteries.  Shortly thereafter, Bishop Bradley arrived & after hello hugs he joined Carol on the sidewalk & I finished my Rosary.  Then for the conversion of abortionists I sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.  We each held pro-life signs & throughout the hour we heard happy honks & were given thumbs up & I saw an absolutely darling thing as I held my "Pray To End Abortion" sign facing traffic by the light where cars were stopped, I could see the driver giving me thanks with thumbs up & in the back seat I could see this teensy thumbs up from the little one. It was just too precious!!!! Just made me giggle.  After I finished the Chaplet I joined Bishop Bradley & Carol on the sidewalk in silent prayer.  Then we ended our prayer time together joining hands & Bishop Bradley said a beautiful pro-life Closing Prayer. Carol said she will try to be back to attend the Closing Prayer Vigil Sunday night at 6pm. It was very chilly & a bit windy. Darling, little Carol was just shivering. I know she had been there for a while before I arrived. I was glad she was going to to be able to get warmed up in her car. What a blessed peaceful, prayerful evening we three PW's had tonight. (Jenny)

November 1, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-EIGHT - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

7:00 a.m. Vigil

The wind was strong and mighty this morning. With the thick cloud cover, daylight came very slowly and gradually. This morning was a confirmation that we have a mighty God!  We place all of our trust in him. You have given us a free will, may our will always be one with Yours.  We are thankful for our religious freedom. Witnessing to the sanctity of life out on the sidewalk is a freedom shared by only 24% of the world's population.  May the innocent children in the womb all experience the the God-given right to life.  (Sue K)

6:00 p.m. Vigil

In the chilly, windy weather, I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit around me then began my opening prayers & offered up the prayer vigil for all involved in abortion in anyway. Shortly thereafter, darling 22-yr-old Sarah stopped by to look at both sides of my sign & find out what we are doing out here. I told her, peacefully praying for the unborn ~ being their voice. We talked about what goes on at the abortion mill, about the precious, tiny baby parts in the red bucket they call "medical waste", how sickening is that!!! She agreed as we both had tears in our eyes.  She said "you are my voice too.  I can't have children, so adoption will be my choice." That is why she is against abortion. She had breast cancer at 12 & was treated successfully & has been cancer-free for these 10 years.

Maribeth arrived & the three of us talked pro-life a bit more & about Sarah in the bible & Maribeth said "God has great plans for you, Sarah."  She was getting very cold so we hugged good bye & told her we would be praying for her. She will read the info I gave her & probably join us in prayer one Thursday night.  Such a sweet girl. She certainly warmed our hearts with her encouragement to continue our praying for the unborn which we will do for sure.  Maribeth & I walked along the grass as she said the rest of the opening prayers & led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Sorrowful Mystery meditation before each decade. As we were going to start the last Mystery, The Crucifixion, we realized it was time to leave for 7pm All Saints Day Mass at St. Malachy. Pro-life intentions were offered up during our First Friday service after Mass. What a blest day & evening this has been ~ praying with Maribeth for the unborn then praying & singing at All Saints Day Mass with her & her husband, just a great Friday for us all!!!  (Jenny)

October 31, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-SEVEN - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

That is HORROR -- and it happens in our neighborhoods every day!
This frightening TRUTH leaves behind blood, guts, and gore in buckets -- and we should take
time out to SEE what our LEGAL LAWS leave in their wake....not only the dismembered and discarded little bodies, but the broken women and men who have believed the lies and need healing and our understanding.
PRAY TO END ABORTION!

7:00 a.m. Vigil

The 7a-8a vigil was warm, rainy, and dark.  Two prayer warriors, one standing at attention and one pacing back and forth prayed for the light of truth to shine upon the hearts and souls of all those considering abortion and all those promoting abortion. The morning vigil is so special. There are few distractions and much peace to prayerfully plead for an end to abortion and the healing of those who have participated in abortion in any way. We also pray for those who have yet to realize each person's need to defend life from conception to natural death. (Sue K )

6:00 p.m. Vigil

May all our young ones be safe this evening if they go out for their candy & as we celebrate All Saints Day on Friday at Holy Mass, we ask our dear Saints in Heaven to continue to pray along with us every time we stand at an abortion mill peacefully, lovingly shedding light on this sad place.

Even though it was raining, it was in the high 50's so no problem, just that the wind gusts every now & then knocked us around a bit. We walked back & forth under our umbrellas as Maribeth offered up our intentions for the hour then she led the Holy Rosary giving a beautiful Luminous Mystery meditation before each decade. We then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of abortionists & Maribeth said our closing prayer from her heart ~ just wonderful. After the Pledge of Allegiance we hugged good bye & were on our way home. No young ones to give our candy to ~ I must say I indulged on WAY TOO MANY little packets of M&M's, I'm a "shveenia" ~ that's Polish for piggy  :o)

All Saints Day tomorrow so Maribeth & I will be leaving at 6:45 to go to 7:00 p.m. Holy Mass at St. Malachy. Join us if you can.  (Jenny)

October 30, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-SIX - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

BE INSPIRED TO TAKE THE STAND FOR LIFE!
(March for Life in Washington, D.C. - January 2013)

6:00 p.m. Vigil

Maribeth, Ray & I walked back & forth along our sacred prayer area on the grass holding our pro-life signs, saying all the opening prayers, sharing holy water & offering up our prayer intentions for the hour.  Ray led the Holy Rosary with Maribeth reading a brief Glorious Mystery before each Hail Mary.  A beautiful blessing was given to us as a young woman drove up & stopped to talk a bit & to thank us for being out there. We discussed the hurt that abortion causes to so many & we promised to never stop praying for the end of this horrid evil happening right here in our neighborhoods. These mills will be closed through our peaceful prayers & our loving, kind assistance to those who stop by to ask us for help. Jesus, we trust in You!!! A few young boys asked as they were riding their bikes near us "is this your job?" We said no, we just pray here one hour each night for the unborn & they could see the darling babies on our pro-life signs. Maribeth mentioned how this will be in their minds as they grow into young men. Hopefully abortion will be over by that time & if not, how beautiful it would be for them to be here praying with us. One of them always says "God bless you" as he rides his bike by us.  For the conversion of abortionists, we sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy & closed with the Pledge of Allegiance, said our good byes & realized that it was going to be a lot!!! colder very soon & as I type this, it is raining, windy & chilly outside & we must definitely dress in layers from now on ~ or until our Michigan weather changes back to 65.  (Jenny)

October 29, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-FIVE- FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

~~ Philippians 4:8 ~~

I faced WomanCare with my two pro-life signs toward traffic, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the opening prayers & immediately a positive happened & they continued the rest of the prayer hour. A young man walking by said "Hello, how are you doing?" with a big smile on his face looking at my pro-life signs.  I said "great, how about you."  He said " very cold, like you."  I said, "we prayer warriors know to dress in layers, so I'm just fine." We both laughed & he was on his way.  I finished my opening prayers & said/sang the Holy Rosary reading a brief Sorrowful Mystery before singing each Hail Mary offered up for all involved in abortion in any way & for the conversion of abortionists I sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. The nail folks said good night & as it was getting dark I moved under the light for the last 15 minutes of my prayer time out there. I closed with saying the Pledge of Allegiance looking at that beautiful American flag on the other side of the street. (Jenny)

October 28, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-FOUR - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

THIS IS TERROR!

Paul had stopped by to pray at WomanCare abortion mill after praying at the Southfield location. God bless him!!! We said our hello & good bye as his prayers ended & mine began.  I faced WomanCare with my two pro-life signs toward traffic, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the opening prayers.  A jogger in shorts!!! yikes!!! it was in the mid 40's & a bit windy but he ran past me with a big smile & thumbs up as well as a few boys riding their bikes past me with smiles. Great to see the young ones understand why we are out there in peaceful prayer & smile to encourage us. I finished my opening prayers & said/sang the Holy Rosary reading a brief Luminous  Mystery before singing each Hail Mary. Heard happy honks throughout my prayer time out there. My prayer intentions were as always ~ for all involved in abortion in any way & for the conversion of abortionists I sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Ended with the Pledge of Allegiance & was glad to get into my car to warm up a bit on the way home, although it is not terribly cold yet ~ but we Michiganders know its coming, don't we. (Jenny)

October 27, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-THREE - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

2:30 p.m. Vigil with St. Thecla
St. Thecla's Parish represented by about 30 people were led in prayer by Fr. Prill.  We sang Let There Be Peace, and said prayers to St. Gianna Molla. Then we prayed the Holy Rosary.  When we pray the Rosary we are joined by all of the saints and angels! So powerful.  What an uplifting and encouraging experience. There were several young people in our group.  We closed with the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and "God Bless America"  In God we trust! (Sue K)
What an amazing group from St. Thecla!  Thank you for coming out to pray!!

6:00 p.m. Vigil

I faced WomanCare abortion mill with my two pro-life signs toward traffic, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the opening prayers.  A drive-by screamer yelled "go home you dumb ass."  I immediately turned toward his car & sure enough, that coward got stopped at the light so I held up my rosary with praying hands & sang the Our Father for his misguided, hardened heart & soul.  He was stuck there quite a while so I'm sure he could see me in his rearview mirror praying for him. Lord, heal him. Amen!!!

Maribeth arrived ~ yeah!!! We talked about the story of the ass whose owner starved him for three days then placed him in the middle of the town with fresh hay at one end & St. Francis holding our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament at the other end of town & that ass walked over to our Lord & knelt down in front of Him, so you see, being called a dumb ass means nothing to me. Maribeth then took over reading the rest of the opening prayers & we walked back & forth along our grass prayer area which we consider sacred ground because of the precious little ones being slaughtered at WomanCare abortion mill at least once a week. We pray for those tiny little babies who end up as little baby body pieces tossed away like trash into the red bucket. We know they are immediately with God in Heaven but man what a horrid death, trying to get away from the clamps & knife jabbing at them, just horrid!!!

Lord, help their moms & dads & the abortionists realize what they have done & humbly beg You to forgive them. You are such a merciful God & will do so. We heard happy honks, saw smiles, thumbs up & then another negative drive-by screamer "abortion is a right."  Yeah, right ~ 7 unelected folks decided it was legal for a woman to go into one of those places to have her baby savagely removed piece by tiny piece from her tummy.  Lord, forgive us for we know not what we are doing.

Maribeth gave a beautiful reflection before each Joyful Mystery then read a brief meditation before each Hail Mary. She closed our prayer hour with a beautiful prayer of thanksgiving for all the PW's & HPW's this campaign & other blessings we are so thankful for, the babies saved in various places because of our peaceful prayers & she asked God to please end this scourge in our world of unborn babies being brought to these places all over the world by their own mothers to be killed.  Our people are in such a mess!!! We then faced the American flag & said the Pledge of Alligence. We were blest with a most glorious sky, bright blue to the south & huge clouds, one looking like the Holy Spirit ready to pounce on Satan & the other one, oh my gosh, it looked like Christ on the cross. We could see His arms stretched up & his face bent toward his left side. It gave us tears in our eyes. Man, what a beautiful way to end our day.  Hugs good bye & I picked up my carry out from My Pizza Place then home to relax as we get ready for another work week & our last week of 40 Days for Life ~ can hardly believe it. I will then go back to my 6pm Thursday night prayer vigil & invite all of you to join me when your schedules allow. It would be good for you to be out there with me (Jenny)

October 26, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-TWO - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

6:00 p.m. Vigil

Facing WomanCare abortion mill with my two pro-life signs toward traffic, I blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & holding my umbrella against the rain & wind began the opening prayers.  It was a bit difficult to manage all my prayer cards plus hold my umbrella & then all of a sudden half way through the opening prayers the rain stopped & the wind slowed down ~ so great.  I closed up my umbrella & finished the prayers & offered up my hour for all involved in abortion in any way. A car stopped before making a left-hand turn & the passenger window rolled down & the young woman said "don't stop" & gave me a big smile & thumbs up. No problem, we PW's will be praying out there until the place closes & hopefully!!! a pro-life clinic takes over. I then said/sang the Holy Rosary reading a brief Glorious Mystery before each Hail Mary. Next I sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of all abortionists & turned toward the beautiful American flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance. All positives this evening. With the wind slowing down, it was not that bad, plus it's only an hour & I can offer that up for this good cause ~ that the little ones parents will chose LIFE for them.  (Jenny)

October 25, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY-ONE - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

life....it's what we stand for

6:00 p.m. Vigil
I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the opening prayers.  Maribeth arrived ~ yeah!!!! She took oven reading the rest of the opening payers after offering up our intentions for the prayer hour as we walked to keep warm along the grass area holding our pro-life signs. She offered up a heartfelt reflection at the start of each Sorrowful Mystery & read a brief meditation before each Hail Mary. Louise arrived ~ yeah!!! We three PW's peacefully prayed with the chilly wind reminding us it is now turning into winter here in Michigan.

A van slowed down & the lady said "God bless you, stay warm."  We thanked her for the encouragement which warms our hearts. We had a Drive-by screamer but we could not make out what he had said, we prayed for the healing of his hateful heart. Positives the rest of the hour. We closed singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as always for the conversion of all abortionists then turned toward our beautiful American flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance, good bye hugs & into our cars to warm up.  (Jenny)

October 24, 2013 -- DAY THIRTY - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

Tonight is was very chilly!!  Regina and Ray were already at the clinic when I arrived (thank You Jesus!).  Jenny was praying from home--lots of HOT projects that were due immediately from her boss--we missed you!  The three of us said the Rosary--praying the Sorrowful Mysteries (which are very appropriate for an abortion clinic).  We said spontaneous prayers for the abortionists and all those who pass us by and just don't get it.  We did see one thumbs down and prayed for that lost soul, but the positives outweighed the negatives!!  Regina said she had a great turnout yesterday morning for St. Martin de Porres Adopt a Day -- yeah!!!  We finished our prayer vigil praying for all those men and women who would be going to the abortion clinics tomorrow morning.  We asked the Holy Spirit to touch their hearts so they would realize that the baby they are carrying is a special gift from God to them--and to them only.  Holy Spirit, open their eyes to see that LIFE is a unique gift and should be celebrated, not discarded.  We ended with the Pledge and gave hugs....then scurried to our cars to warm up.  Dress warm--the night chill has a bite.  Thank You God for Your beautiful gift of prayer warriors.  (Maribeth)

October 23, 2013 -- DAY TWENTY-NINE - FALL 2013 40 DAYS FOR LIFE

St. Martin de Porres Adopt A Day

Thank you for coming out to STAND UP FOR LIFE!

6:00 p.m. Vigil -- with the Youth of Bethesda Romanian Pentecostal Church of Troy

We started out as two.....and turned into 22+!
Thank You Jesus for this amazing night of prayer with the youth.  Their from-the-heart-hand-made signs were to the point and brought many positive honks, thumbs up, and smiles....so much encouragement.  It was such a blessing to be out there with our next generation of PRO-LIFERS!    (Maribeth)

What a great group of young pro-lifers!!! As you & I were walking back & forth along the grassy prayer area saying the Holy Rosary, it was just beautiful hearing the different groups of young ones praying from their heart for the end of this evil in our world AND also their singing!!! Their youth leader said such a powerful closing prayer from his heart & it was so great to hear all of them immediately join us as we announced "The Pledge of Allegiance." God was truly pleased with our efforts this evening, I'm sure!!! We were so blessed to have such a joyful group out there peacefully speaking up for LIFE!!! (Jenny)
