June 13, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

Thursday night Christine was already at WomanCare abortion mill when I arrived. We blest ourselves with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground around us & Christine began reading all our opening prayers. Maribeth arrived...yeah!!!  Such a beautiful summer evening!!!

As we walked along the grass area praying, the cars were stopped for the light & a man said "thank you, ladies, for praying."  We smiled & showed him our Pray to End Abortion side of the sign with our website on it & he said he would check it out. A man then drove by on the other side of the street with "a #1 gesture" toward us.  I just held up my sign toward him THE CHOICE OF ABORTION letting those three cute little babies smile at him until he was out of sight. Lord, let these little one soften the hateful heart of that man. We know You can heal his hurting soul. Then a car load of teenage men drove by, thumbs up!!! to us PW's & smiles. As Maribeth said, "it is so great to see the young ones who GET IT!!! really get what abortion is really all about. They are our pro-life future."  Happy honks & more smiles as Christine led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Glorious Mystery before each Hail Mary.

As always, we prayed for the conversion of abortion doctors & there staffs as Christine led the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.  We faced our beautiful American flag & closed out our prayer hour with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Please join us in peaceful prayer when your schedules allow. God most certainly will bless you. I can assure of that!!!  (Jenny)

Sunday Prayer Vigils

June 2, 2013

Friday, there were three of us.  Ellen is a trooper, but her legs are bothering her.  She is not a complainer, so it must be quite bad.  Thank you Lord for Ellen's passion for life. May it be contagious.  I was a solitary prayer warrior today.  Rocco from St. Malachy stopped to ask if I was alone and said that he would return another day.  He has been having health problems but is better now.  Pray that all prayer warriors will commit to some time every month.  Lord give Catholics the courage to defend life by prayer and witness.  Let us be the voice of the voiceless.  Lord, heal our nation and our world, we pray. Amen.

Persevere. Pray always.  (Sue)

June 6, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

Last night I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the opening prayers. Maribeth arrived...yeah!  It was a bit chilly but nothing like past vigils.

Maribeth led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Sorrowful Mystery before each Hail Mary. Then for the conversion of abortion doctors & there staffs, she led the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with St. Faustina's meditations on the Passion, such a beautiful, sacred way to pray for the unborn in danger of being killed at WomanCare mill.  Lots of happy honks & one negative~a man drove by motioning for us to go home~which will never happen~not until abortion ends~or until we PW's are called Home. To close out our prayer vigil, we faced the American flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance.

Folks continue to slow down to check out our new sign~"THE COST OF ABORTION" with those three darling little ones just under that.  It sure has brought lots of smiles from those passing by.

Come out to pray with us when your schedule allows you to do so.  It is truly a blessing to know that you are doing what God is asking~speaking up for His unborn little ones.  (Jenny)

May 30, 2013 - Thursday Vigil

As I was driving to WomanCare abortion mill it was really!!! raining & I could hardly
see the road but as I got there it slowed down a bit.  I faced WomanCare, blest myself
with holy water & started the Holy Rosary meditating on the Luminous Mysteries.

Christine arrived...yeah.  We huddled under my umbrella & she took over leading the rosary.
Then as it was only drizzling, I stepped out from the umbrella so I could hold my sign up better
for all those driving by to see... the darling three little babies "THE COST OF ABORTION".
Lots of happy honks, smiles, thumbs up.  One negative "go home!" was yelled at us by a
drive-by screamer followed shortly thereafter by "God bless ya" from a lady driving by.
The pro-lifers were very strong during our prayer hour & definitely let us know that they
were happy we two were out there praying  for the unborn children in danger of being
killed at WomanCare.

Christine then led the Chaplet of Divine Mercy especially for the conversion of all
abortionists & their staffs, then various pro-life prayers from our booklet.

To close our prayer time together, we both faced that beautiful American flag, the rain
had stopped!!! & placed our hands on our hearts & said the Pledge of Allegiance.   (Jenny)
