Happy Thanksgiving to all ! ! !
It was a bit too windy out, so I put my Lady of Guadalupe candle back in the car. Holding my "Pray to End Abortion sign, I blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground & started praying all the opening prayers. A young couple walked by, mom holding their baby & said hello. I said Happy Thanksgiving to them. They were all smiles. I think they were talking Polish but I'm not sure. Maribeth arrived...yeah!!! She had a Magnificat prayer booklet & read the Thanksgiving Prayer & others which were just beautiful. She then raised up to God all the things we were thankful for ~ life ~ family ~ being able to pray together this evening for the unborn ~ being blest to live in America. Our rosary would especially for a change of heart in the moms & dads who will be thinking of having their little unborn boys & girls killed here at WomanCare abortion mill Friday morning. Lord, let the Friday 9am Prayer Warriors put Your light into them & change their minds & find help with the Pro-Life Pregnancy Centers.
Maribeth said "look up" & there were two candles floating up into the air, just as I was reading the third Joyful Mystery, the Nativity... so cool. We heard happy honks, a motorcycle cop was stopped at the light & we said "Happy Thanksgiving" & he said the same to us & smiled. Then two girls in their car gave us "four" thumbs up, both hands .. that was cute!!! The couple came back from the market & said "good night" to us. We were not sure if the first drive by screamer said "pro-life" or "go home", either way, we were going to be out their for our prayer vigil. A young lady drove by with her palm up out her window & we wondered if that was a negative or positive but our closing prayer that we were getting ready to say was "Lord, we lift up to You..." so I said "that meant she was lifting us up to the Lord". A man road by on his bike and talked a bit & said Happy Thanksgiving & God bless you & we answered the same back to him. We faced the beautiful, big flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance & our vigil was ended. We were both very thankful to be out there, especially with so many positives this evening. Jesus, that was so beautiful of You to do that for Maribeth & I tonight. Thank you ! ! ! (Jenny)
We will continue our peaceful prayer vigils at WomanCare abortion mill, 15 Mile & Dodge Park Wednesdays at 9am; Thursdays at 6pm and Fridays at 9am. Join us please when you can.

November 15, 2012 - THURSDAY VIGIL
After placing my order, I left the Chinese carryout & heard Richard saying hello & that he was going to join me...yeah!!! I lit my Lady of Guadalupe candle, placed it on the ground & he & I held our pro-life signs, faced traffic, blest our selves with holy water, sprinkled a bit on the ground & opened the vigil with The Prayer for the Helpless Unborn & for all prayer warriors we prayed the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. Richard then led the rosary & I read a brief meditation before each Hail Mary. Maribeth joined us & took over reading the meditations. We then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for our country to turn back to God. Our nation will never get better as long as we keep turned away from Him... so sad!!! Happy & honks & thumbs up throughout the hour. Richard then sang a song about our Blessed Mother in Polish. Then Maribeth got out her song sheets & we sang another pro-life song. Maribeth said our closing prayer. No matter who is running this country, we prayer warriors will be out in front of these evil places reminding folks by our peaceful prayer that precious, little unborn boys & girls are in danger of being savagely killed there. What has our nation come to?!?!? when a little one can be torn apart in the mother's womb & it's legal?!?!? this just sickens me. Once this evil ends, our country will start to heal & we will be blest again. Hope folks wake up & realize that prayer & fasting is what is needed. (Jenny)

November 8, 2012 -- THURSDAY VIGIL
I faced WomanCare abortion mill with my Pray To End Abortion sign hanging on my arm toward traffic & my yellow LIFE balloon clipped to my sign. I said all the opening prayers & Maribeth joined me as we prayed the Holy Rosary meditating on the Sorrowful Mysteries because we were both very sad at how the next four years we have pro-abortion leaders again leading this country in the culture of death. However, right away, a van stopped & a man & women had thumbs up, smiles for us & thanked us for praying out there. That most definitely helped us realize that pro-life changes will happen at the local abortion mills in our own neighborhoods by our own peaceful, prayerful efforts. So we must continue onward!!! for our precious, little unborn brothers & sisters!!! We continued our walking to & from the traffic light & said the Chaplet of Divine Mercy as well for all involved in abortion in any way & for our nation to somehow get back to pro-life, God-loving, God-fearing, America-loving ways again. Heard happy honks throughout the hour. Reading the message below from Shawn Carney, our 40 Days for Life Campaign Director, makes my heart feels better because I know that our prayers are answered in God's own perfect timing & His own perfect way. We must continue to be His peaceful prayer warriors. (Jenny)

November 4, 2012 - Day 40
When I arrived about 5:30 the Crusaders for Life were already praying the Holy Rosary facing WomanCare abortion mill. Their president, Bobby, led the 11 other young men & women as I gave each one a big yellow LIFE balloon & Baby Jesus prayer card & then joined them in praying the rosary. We had another dozen or so Prayer Warriors arrive for the 6pm prayer vigil who also joined in the Holy Rosary. These young ones all knelt down when praying the Sorrowful Mysteries (Christ's Agony in the Garden, His Scouraging at the Pillar, His Crowning with Thorns, His Carrying of the Cross, His Crucifixion). I had tears in my eyes at the faith these young folks have in God to end this evil in our country & our world. What a beau tiful example of how great our young adults can be!!!
The Crusaders for Life continued on with another Rosary & we 40 Days For Life Prayer Warriors moved under the street light down a bit from their group so we could take turns reading various prayers & litanies & singing songs that Maribeth & Sue had picked for our ending prayer vigil. What a blessing to be able to stand next to Karen with her angelic voice. I harmonized to some of the songs, just wonderful to sing with her. A drive by screamer yelled "get a life". I said back, "WE LOVE LIFE." Another drive by screamer yelled, "F___ your beliefs". I did not answer that nasty remark, just said a prayer for both of these misguided young men. May they somehow find their way to God's light & truth& out of satan's culture of death, darkness & lies!!! The rest of the time we heard happy honks & got lots of smiles, waves & thumbs u p from those driving by us. (Jenny)
We will continue our prayer vigils at WomanCare abortion mill, 15 & Dodge Park, on: Wednesdays at 9am; Thursdays at 6pm; and, Fridays at 9am -- please join us when you are able to do so.

November 3, 2012 - Day 39
As I arrived at WomanCare abortion mill this evening the last hour of folks from Bethlehem Apostolic Church were there. As always, they had adopted this day to pray FROM 7A.M. TO 7P.M. God bless them all. I blest myself with holy water, took out my rosary & Pray to End Abortion sign & said hello to Bishop Bradley, Carol Washington & the rest of their group, five or six other adults & precious young ones from teens, to pre-teens to toddlers, holding Life Is Precious & other pro-life signs... just darling. Two little girls were down the bit for the large group & some lady yelled at them "get a life." I thought to myself, shame on her!!! These darling kids were out there PRAYING FOR LIFE to be spared of unborn little girls & boys....geeezzzzzz!!! some of our pro-abortion adults have no concern yelling at little kids like that. It sickens me!!! I walked up to the two little girls & gave them a big hug & gave them each a Baby Jesus prayer card & precious baby feet pins. They were all smiles & I was glad to see that the drive-by screamer did not even get their attention. Thank you, Jesus.
I passed out Baby Jesus prayer cards & baby feet pins to the rest of the group then began my walk to & from the traffic light along the grass area softly singing the Holy Rosary meditating on the Joyful Mysteries. Now & then I stopped a bit to talk with some of the other Prayer Warriors. We must keep Carol in our prayers. She has suffered lots of medical problems this past year but that darling woman was there today all 12 hours... God bless her!!! She did take breaks now & then as many of us have asked her to do, so that was good to hear.
We closed out the 6pm prayer hour in a big circle holding hands as Carol said some closing words of thanks to God & then Bishop Bradley said our final prayer for the evening. I mentioned the 6pm closing prayer vigil on Sunday night so I'm sure some of his congregation will able to attend. Lots!!! of happy honks were heard throughout the prayer hour as always.

November 2, 2012 - Day 38
Bundled up again this evening & faced WomanCare abortion mill with my Pray To End Abortion sign facing traffic. I blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground & walked slowly along the grass area back & forth to the traffic light saying my opening prayers. Maribeth then led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Sorrowful Mystery meditation before each Hail Mary. Prayer Warrior Pat joined us for a couple of decades of the rosary then had to leave for Mass, All Souls Day today. Besides the happy honks, one drive-by screamer yelled pro-choice. Maribeth then read the next meditation which was "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." That really made us think about these folks who yell. Do they really!!! know what the abortion doctor does up in that evil place?!?!? I said the prayer Aunt Stella gave me for that young man & all who are pro-abortion. We closed our prayer vigil with the Pledge of Allegiance & singing America the Beautiful.
It was then time for us to go to Mass at our churches for all the souls of our loved ones who have been called home this year. Fr. Joe at St. Malachy (Jenny's church) was excellent as always & our choir brought tears to my eyes at times especially when folks brought up candles to be lit for their loved ones who had passed away this year when their name was called out. During this time, we all sang "Jesus, remember me when You come into your Kingdom, Jesus remember me when you come into your Kingdom." In the row next to me a young girl was crying for the one from their family who had passed & it got me all choked up. She was just so precious.
Two more nights of peaceful prayer for our unborn brothers & sisters & 40 Days for Life is done for this prayer campaign. I cannot believe how quickly this time went by. (Jenny)

November 1, 2012 - Day 37
Hello all, very windy this evening in the 40's, felt like it was in the 20's, but we were bundled up really well. I said the opening prayers facing the abortion mill after blessing myself with holy water & sprinkling a bit on the ground. A positive happened right away, a young women yelled "stop abortion now, stop abortion now" with a big smile on her face. I said thank you, God bless you & the light changed & she was on her way.
Maribeth led the Holy Rosary reading a brief Luminous Mystery before each Hail Mary. We then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, said the Pledge of Allegiance & it was time to leave for Mass at our churches--as it was All Saints Day today. Nick stopped by to say a rosary as well. (Jenny)

October 31, 2012 - Day 36
Good evening my Family & Friends, Louise & I arrived the same time. It was windy & a bit rainy so we did not pray from our pro-life booklets. Instead, we prayed the Prayer for the Helpless Unborn & for all Prayer Warriors said the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel.
Maribeth arrived & we began slowing walking back & forth to the traffic light taking turns leading the Holy Rosary meditating on the Glorious Mysteries. First there was a negative. A young woman was stopped in traffic flipping us off. I smiled at her, held up my Pray To End Abortion sign & rosary toward her. She rolled down her window & said, "It's a woman's choice." I said, "that's right & we are praying that her choice will be to keep her baby & not to have it killed." She glared at me, but said nothing, simply rolled her window up, the light changed & she moved along with traffic. We three said a prayer for her misguided thinking right at that time. How in the world did it come to this?!?!?! that a woman could legally have her unborn little girl or boy torn apart in her womb & thrown into a red bucket market "medical waste." Every time I pray on Thursday nights, I know that there are going to be precious, little baby feet, baby arms, tiny little baby heads in that red bucket upstairs in WomanCare abortion mill & I just get all choked up while I'm praying & beg God to let these woman see the prayer warriors on the grass Friday mornings praying for them & let them give life to their babies. There are so many folks at the pregnancy centers & at the various churches who want to help them so they don't feel that their only choice is to have there little ones killed. This just has to stop & as long as I am able to be out there, I will be praying for an end of this evil(abortion-ripping apart little babies in the womb). JESUS, PROTECT & SAVE THE UNBORN & HEAL OUR SINFUL WORLD! AMEN!!!
The best part of the prayer vigil was toward the end of our hour. A mom walked by pushing a little baby in a stroller dressed up like a little teddy bear, toooooo cute for words. I said, "oh, wait, I have Snickers" & I gave the mom my bag & she put a candy bar in the little ones halloween bucket. This darling mom & baby, plus all the happpy honks all night made up for the start of our prayer hour with that young lady "pro-choice remark." We ended the prayer vigil with the Pledge of Allegiance, America the Beautiful & other songs. (Jenny)

October 30, 2012 - Day 35
Three of my Secular Franciscans, Marge, Carol, and Connie, joined me in praying there. We dressed warmly and it wasn't too windy, but it was sprinkling, so we sat in my car and said the prayers. I didn't want anyone to get sick. I parked the car facing the clinic and put my sign in the back window. While we were praying, we saw the light go on inside the clinic and we could see the TV was turned on. We didn't see anyone and there were no cars in front of the clinic. Whatever was on the TV didn't look like the news. After a while, the light was turned off and a woman came out of the clinic. She could have been a worker. Her van was parked in back of mine. When she started to leave, she went out the back way. We finished up our prayers and left at 7. I just want to say how much I thank the ladies who joined me! The Holy Spirit encouraged them to come. God bless them and God bless you, Jenny. You are a faithful prayer warrior for the unborn. (Norma)
October 29, 2012 - Day 34
Rich R was finishing his 5pm Prayer Vigil when I arrived. We said our hello/good bye & he went to his car to warm up. His hands were like ice. He offers up the chill of his prayer hour for his special intentions.
I walked over to the grass prayer area blest myself with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground. The weather guy had said that we might have gusts of wind up to 60 mph & I thought no ha-way but yes-way!!! A few times the wind almost knocked me off my feet but the rest of the hour the wind was not as bad so I'm thankful for that & I had the string from my Pray To End Abortion sign wrapped around my hands & my gloves gave me a good hold on my pro-life sign.
With all the wind I didn't even try to read from my pro-life booklets, I just said the Prayer for the Helpless Unborn & for all prayer warriors, on-site & HPW's, I said the Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. Then I walked back & forth along the grass area at a pretty good pace to keep warm & sang the Holy Rosary meditating on the Joyful Mysteries. Then sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, offering my entire prayer vigil for all involved in abortion in any way. I closed with the Pledge of Allegiance & sang America the Beautiful.
The traffic light was stopping lots of traffic & one car had the back window rolled down for their darling white scotty-looking dog who was just watching me so intently as I sang the Hail Mary a couple times as they were stopped for the light. I could not stop smiling & the "mom" waved from the front seat as they drove away. Then when I was singing the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, a car was stopped by the light & a darling Downs syndrome boy was listening as I was signing & his dad said "thank you" to me & I held up my sign & said "thank you & God bless you." No negatives this evening & those two positives were so special to me!!! :o) (Jenny)
