So glad that my prayers this past week were answered & Christine, my Prayer Warrior sister was there, yeah!!! for the 6pm Prayer Vigil. She has been unable to pray for a while because her brother was hit & killed by a drunk driver & they are going through a very difficult time as would be expected. Lord, give them all Your strength to get through this. May her brother rest in peace & may the person who did this stop drinking & find help to get through his life with sorrow for what he has done, never let this happen again, asking You to forgive him. Amen.
After we blest ourselves with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground, we faced the abortion mill saying all the opening prayers with my "Pray To End Abortion" sign facing traffic. She then led the Holy Rosary with a brief Sorrowful Mystery meditation before each Hail Mary followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We walked slowly along the grass to the traffic light & back which is a good way to keep warm on these chilly Michigan nights. Glad that we were dressed in layers. It was a bit windy out so I was unable to light my Lady of Guadalupe candle. We closed our vigil as we looked at our big, beautiful flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. We then said a few more prayers for the moms & dads who were planning on having their unborn babies killed Friday morning at the abortion mill that God would tough their hearts & souls & they would see the prayer warriors out there praying for them & would give life to their little ones, seeking help with pro-life pregnancy folks if they needed it. We heard happy honks throughout our prayer hour & it was a very peaceful prayer hour with no negatives. I truly believe that we will end this evil one abortion mill at a time.
Our peaceful prayer vigils will continue at WomanCare abortion mill, 15 Mile & Dodge Park Wednesdays at 9am; Thursdays at 6pm and Fridays at 9am. Please join us please when you can. (Jenny)
