Folks really appreciate us PW's being out there in bad weather. Last night, Maribeth & I walked our prayer hour in very!!! chilly weather with wind & rain. Happy honks of approval were heard & we could see thumbs up in the cars as they stopped for the traffic light. After blessing ourselves with holy water, Maribeth offered up all our prayer intentions for the evening & we prayed the Holy Rosary together with a brief Joyful Mystery before each Hail Mary. Then for the conversion of abortion doctors & their staffs, we sang the Chaplet of Divine Mercy finishing with the Pledge of Allegiance. We hugged good bye & warmed our frozen fingers & feet in our cars. I couldn't belive it was 7:07 as I held my fingers near the heater vent.
Maribeth said, Satan will try to make this the toughest week for us as it is the last week of our 40 Days for Life Prayer Campaign but we PW's are a very strudy bunch & say to him "get thee behind us Satan." We will never stop praying for the end of this evil in our world & God is answering our prayers in various ways in warious places as we all know by reading the updates from our PW's in this area as well as updates from Shawn & PW's all over the world. Thank you, Lord!!! May God bless you all. (
