After reading Shawn's update from ~ God in Moscow ~ I am so humbled & will try to not complain about cold weather or any other small crosses that I bear while in prayer for our precious unborn. At least here in the USA we don't have to worry about the military showing up to "shut us up" like most folks in Russia have to worry about. O how blest I am!!! Thank you, Jesus, for making me an American citizen!!! I praise You!!! & love You!!!
St. Martin de Porres had been there from 7am for their Adopt a Day to Pray(7am-7pm). PW's Regina, Marilyn, Sue were there so Christine & I joined their group. We blest ourselves with holy water & sprinkled a bit on the ground then hugged hello/good bye. Marilyn had to leave & Sue insisted that Regina get into her car & warm up for a bit. Sue would be able to pray for another 15 minutes or so then would warm up in her car on her way home. We must remember what Fr told us a while back, God does not!! want us to get sick out there so dress warmly & listen to your body when you need to warm up a bit. Sue offered up our prayer intentions for the 6pm prayer vigil & we began saying all the opening prayers. Maribeth arrived as did Regina's husband Jerry.
Two young women had stopped their car to make a left-hand turn & were giving us thumbs up & big smiles so I gave them each an info packet & thanked them for giving us their support & hopefully we will have two more PW's joining us after they check out our website. We continued walking to & from the traffic light, still cold, windy weather here in Michigan, little crosses to endure for the end of the evil of abortion. Chrisitine led the Holy Rosary with a brief Glorious meditation before each Hail Mary then the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the conversion of the abortion doctors & their staffs. Jesus can do all things. He will answer all our prayers in His own perfect way. We just have to be faithful PW's for Him & He will do the rest.
The lady stopped by twice with names of folks to pray for. We gathered in a circle to pray for those on her various lists & for her also, as she is living out of her car. We ended our prayer vigil singing Immaculate Mary, America the Beautiful & said the Pledge of Allegiance to our beautiful flag (getting beat up by the wind lately). (Jenny)
