Beautiful
evening for prayer tonight AND the abortion mill was
closed. I faced WomanCare abortion mill, blest myself with holy
water, sprinkled a bit on the ground around me & began the
opening prayers for all involved in abortion in any way. A young lady
pulled in & drove right next to me, read my "Pray to End
Abortion" sign, gave me the thumbs up & said "Thank
You." That was so nice of her to take time to stop by with her
encouragement!!!
Then
Maribeth arrived...yeah!!! She took over reading the opening prayers &
leading the Holy Rosary reading a brief Sorrowful Mystery before each Hail
Mary. Paul arrived to pray for a bit a little ways from where Maribeth
& I were praying. After a while, we said our good–byes, as he had to
leave. So great that folks just stop by to "pray a bit" for the
precious, helpless unborn!!! We heard a couple of drive-by screamers
& prayed for their hardened hearts. (The two young men who were on
ladders painting the building looked at the drive-by screamers like there were
crazy.) Hopefully, when the men & women who scream at us grow up, they
will think, geeezzzzz, what a dumb thing that was to scream at the peaceful
folks praying at that abortion mill. All we can do is pray that they
will see God's light & truth.
Maribeth
then led the Chaplet of Divine Mercy by reading Saint Faustina's meditations on
The Passion & we offered this up especially for the conversion of abortion
doctors. We heard happy honks & more folks drove by with smiles
& nods of approval. Some women just had blank looks on their face as
they drove by. We felt very sad for them because they most likely are hurting
in some way from abortion. We closed our prayer vigil as always looking
at that beautiful American flag & said the Pledge of Allegiance. We
hugged good-bye & both started for home. (Jenny)
