Christine, Jenny, and myself were the prayer warriors tonight...lifting our hearts, minds, and prayers to our Heavenly Father. It was another chilly (well, actually, downright freezing) night. We walked and prayed Rosary, the Chaplet, and sang songs (which is praying twice, you know). Other than a car alarm going off in the parking lot, we had a peaceful night. A family with their two dogs walked by...they were polite, but not sure of our being there. That's okay...they saw and heard our praying. One of our final melodies was the song called "You Are Mine." We have sung this song many times at our prayer vigil gatherings (it is in our Prayer Booklet) and the words are beautiful. Tonight, as we sang, I could picture God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, singing this to each of the little babies left behind in the red buckets at all the abortion mills around the world. "Do not be afraid, I am with you. I have called you each by name. Come and follow Me, I will bring you home; I love you and you are Mine." That was my powerful and tearful moment tonight. We were blessed to have Gino (and everyone knows Gino!) join us for our closing prayers and songs. Thanks for seeing us and stopping by to share your passion and faith!!! (Maribeth)
