Day 18 - March 10, 2012

Even though the sun was shining, it was a very chilly evening out there on the sidewalk...but when we walk this journey with friends, it truly warms the soul!  Jenny and I closed out Nick's prayer hour with a few prayers and hugs...then we began our 6:00 p.m. vigil.  Christine joined us as we continued the outpouring of our hearts for the unborn and for all the ways we disrespect life at all stages.  We had a few angry honks and yells -- but that gave us the opportunity to stop and pray for those lost souls.  As usual, there were many positive and encouraging signs and remarks, and we are ever-thankful for those salutations!  We closed our hour praying directly in front of the clinic.  If you look at the last picture of Jenny and Christine, you can see on the right side there is a telephone poll...but to those of us who know that we walk the grounds of Calvary, we know that represents the Cross of Christ...shedding His blood for all of us and waiting for those who destroy His creation to repent and return to Him.  (Maribeth)
