Day 19 - March 11, 2012

Our 6:00 p.m. Vigil was blessed with 12 prayer warriors.  We used our Family Prayer Booklet to lift our hearts and voices to our most amazing God.  Our opening song was The Lord of the Dance...and a joyful dance we could have done because the weather was beautiful and for that we were very thankful.  We prayed for all abortionists and their staffs, for our government, for all those who are apathetic when it comes to life issues, and for all prayer warriors all over the world.  Our reflection was on Noah and his obedience to God...even when everyone around him was carrying on in their wordly ways and not believing in God's message of repentance.  They all called Noah foolish and silly for doing the "godly" things.  Most of us prayer warriors can attest to being called silly as we stand for life outside that clinic...and I'm sure most of us have heard "get a life" -- so ironic because we are trying to get/save a life from being killed inside those walls.  Our prayer is that one day all those who mock us will have the veil removed from their eyes so they can see the true evil of abortion.  We all commented on the gift of rainbows -- God's covenant of His promise to us -- and how forever faithful our God is to His promises.  After our Family Prayer Vigil we walked up and down the sidewalk saying the Rosary...we were joined by prayer warrior Joe and his little friend Snickers.  (Maribeth)
